Of the dozen queens we interviewed at DragCon, the lovely Ongina was the first. The RuPaul's Drag Race, RuPaul's Drag U and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars star couldn't have been sweeter. Ongina's hilarious delivery really shines in the audio version we recorded, which will be part of the upcoming pilot episode of the DerekPlease Podcast

Ongina: Hello! It's Ongina from Season 1 of Rupaul's Drag Race answering a few questions.

Derek: Iconic! So, my first question is, what does DragCon mean to you?

O: DragCon means a celebration of being together with our friends and family, and just really spreading love, light and being really positive this weekend. It is really great seeing all of the different types of demographics that are here, and the age groups. So for me, we come here for the fans, we come here to make money, but really we come here for just experiencing something so much more grand than that.

D: Who is your closest friend from the seasons after yours (Season 1 and All Stars 1)?

O: For the seasons after me, my closest friends would be Pandora Boxx and Jujubee, then the rest are just fuckers. Just kidding. I have more, I’m friends with a lot of them. The thing is that we travel so much and don’t get to see each other all the time. But I'm really good friends with a lot of them like Detox, Mayhem Miller, Morgan McMichaels, Pandora; a lot of the LA queens, obviously, since I see them all the time. Too much if you ask me! There are other ones too, it is hard to name names right now... so if anyone is offended, fuck you [laughs].

D: Thank you so much, Ongina!

O: Thank you!
