1. NAKED on the Run
I love this kit! I won it at a makeup class, and have been experimenting with it ever since. It's my first eye shadow palette, so I'm a newbie with this.
I go in with my MAC 233 Split Fibre Eye Shadow Brush to apply the second eye shadow in the included row of five, called Fix. Fix is a soft taupe matte, and it's gorgeous. Ultra natural-looking and barely detectable, it's perfect for the simplistic look I aim for. I keep the pigment on my eyelids, but smoke out the edges with the brush so there's a natural taper; I don't like the look of a harsh line.
2. MAC Cosmetics Full Lash Curler (Drugstore Dupe: Revlon Extra Curl Eyelash Curler)
Next, I go in with my MAC Cosmetics Full Lash Curler and curl, gurl, curl! Nothing like a simple step like this to really open up your eyes.
3. Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara in Beyond Brown
Oh. My. God. Holy grail mascara, right here. No clumps, no drama, just a great wand in general and a gorgeous, natural brown color. Substitute with the black version if you like a darker look (or use the amazing included Perversion mascara from the NAKED On the Run kit). Don't forget your bottom lashes, if you want your eyes to truly pop!
