This is a very special Inspiration Board for me, as one of my all-time favorite little-known actresses has just hit it big! Brie Larson won this year's Academy Award for Best Actress.

I first discovered Brie Larson in the mid 2000s... when she was a teen pop singer! The music was catchy, frothy, and my friends and I related to it a lot. Especially her songs "Shoebox" and "Loser in Me."

I later re-discovered my love for Brie Larson when she played Toni Collette's daughter on Showtime's original series United States of Tara. The show is one of my favorites of all-time, and she did a fantastic job blending comedy and drama on a show dealing with the daily struggle of mental illness.

I have yet to see Room, the film she won Best Actress for, but I plan to buy the Blu-ray on Tuesday. Can't wait!
